About the Project:
My wife's family and my own are spread out all over the country so announcing out engagement would have been quite a few long phone calls. I thought my time would be better spent making a small site for everyone to look at instead. I grabbed a free layout I liked and modified it to my needs. I put up pictures and little amounts of news to keep family happy if they kept checking the site. I thought this the easiest way to share photos and news.
Tools Used:
- All coding was done in Notepad++
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
- HighSlide JS was used for picture effects
- Photoshop for picture manipulation
Additional Information:
Though we're married now I really liked that little site. So I thought I'd keep it to show as a project later. I still need to size down the pictures on the "pictures" page - I just never got around to it. Hope you enjoy it :)
