INBRE @ LCSC
About the Project:
Through the faculty at LCSC working with INBRE (The Idea Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) I was hired to make a web portal for community signups. This would allow area schools, boys and girls clubs, etc. to be able to search and sign up for outreach activities with a participating LCSC professor. My task was to create a database driven site that could be easily updated each semester by the head of the INBRE committee. The information needing to be updated includes professors, activities, grade levels, schedules and state standards.
Tools Used:
- Visual Studio 2005 was the IDE
- ASP.NET - All server side programming was done in VB.NET
- All SQL queries were made into stored procedures and reused when needed
- Used the preexisting LCSC CSS to style the site
Additional Information:
Due to politics and withheld information this project is waiting to be published to the web still. We appear to be very close to going live. Keep your fingers crossed!
